This Wednesday is International Running Day, and we’re celebrating! 

Join us as we celebrate Brazos Runner’s Club 10th Birthday and introduce the new club board members after our Wednesday night run! Whether you are brand new to the club or a longtime member we’d love to see you there. 

Let’s run, celebrate, and look ahead together!

Plan for the week:

Monday (7:00pm @ Wolf Pen Creek Park) – 1200m hill repeats!

We will begin with a quick warm up mile around the park: http://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/1545721444 

Down the ladder hill repeats on Colgate Dr. The entire hill is considered part of the workout

  •  Lower Mileage: 1200m x 3
  • Medium Mileage: 1200m x 4
  • Higher Mileage: 1200m x 6

Aim for around 120 seconds rest in between reps.

Wednesday (7:00pm @  Taco Bar ) – Tempo Run (25-30s slower than 5k pace) Taco Bar Routes (Taco Bar, 404 Jane St #400, College Station, TX 77840)

Saturday (7:00AM @ Tiffany Park) Long Run – Copperfield Routes

Sunday Slowdown (8:00 AM @ Midtown Drive Wide Shoulder)

Run/Walk down the greenway trail

Breakfast on Saturday morning will be at Torchy’s
