Announcements:

New Location Alert! This Monday we will be running a track workout at the Sam Rayburn Intermediate School track!

Time Change Alert!  We are moving our Monday and Wednesday workouts to 7PM starting this week!

Board Elections: We are now accepting nominations for board member positions. Join us for a Running workshop with our friends over at CSPT on May 8th @ 6PM! The workshop will be held at their 3006 Baroon Rd location next to Urban Table. Hope to see you there!

 Plan for the week:

Monday (7:00pm @ Sam Rayburn Intermediate School) – 400m repeats! 1 mile-ish pace with 90 seconds rest in betweens reps

  • Lower Mileage: 400m x 10
  • Medium Mileage: 400mx 12
  • Higher Mileage: 400m x 16

Aim for around 90 seconds rest in between reps.

Wednesday (7:00pm @ Taco Bar) – Tempo Run (25-30s slower than 5k pace) TacoBar Routes

Saturday (7:00AM @ Torchy’s) – Long Run – New Lodka Routes

Sunday Slowdown (8:00 AM @ Midtown Drive Wide Shoulder)

Run/Walk down the greenway trail

Breakfast on Saturday morning will be at Torchy’s
