Our track workout on Monday (at 7:00 PM) will be a Race Against Yourself and will start/finish from: Thomas Park (corner of Francis and Puryear Dr.).
What kind of race is this?
A race of muscle memory; not one based on how fast you can run. Instead, this race will test your ability to predict how fast you can run a 5K (3.1 miles) WITHOUT the aid of a GPS watch or any other electronic.

Goal:
Predict your finish time—WITHOUT your watch. The purpose of this workout is to practice listening to your body and learn how to feel your pace without the need of a watch. The idea behind this is to help fine-tune your speed and effort throughout a race so that you can perform to the maximum of your potential without falling apart by the last mile.
Rules:
